Oct 12 at Downtown Dojo
We had guests from New Zealand.
Sempai Mike and Sempai Astrid came to the dojo and trained with us.
We not only had great training together but also had them teach Kata to students
at intermediate levels. The two Sempais are visiting their friends in Vancouver and will be staying here
for another two weeks. Hopefully, we will see them again before they leave for their country.

Sep 1 at Downtown Dojo
In this past month, we had a guest black belt from Australia.
Sempai Anthony trained with us and other clubs during his stay in Vancouver.
Today, he completed his last class with us and departed for Montreal to continue his karate journey.
We are to meet again as he will be representing his country in November's World Tournament.
Wish you good luck for the rest of your way in North America,
and see you soon in Tokyo. Osu.

Aug 20 at Sempai Johnny's Moncton Dojo, NB
Sempai Johnny Leblanc, who trained with us until three years ago,
now runs six dojos in New Brunswick. Junior students of the dojo recently enjoyed
training at I'Aboiteau Beach in Cap-Pele.

Aug 21 in Abbotsford, BC
Kyokushin students in Vancouver are enjoying the summer while it lasts.
Sempai's Curtis and Alex took to the skies with their sons, Grant and John,
and experienced magnificent of human flight in the Tandem Skydiving.

July 24 at Shannon Falls
Several enthusiastic members of the Richmond East Dojo hit the road to
the beautiful Shannon Falls Provincial Park. The magnificent scenery in the photos
speaks itself that it's worth the effort climbing up the
1000' Stawamus Chief Mountain.

June 30 at Richmond East Dojo
The summer is here and we keep going. It's the best season to raise
your physical and psychological performance. For Mark and Pasha,
there are only four months left until November.

May 10 at Richmond East Dojo
We had Shihan Don Corrigal visit our dojo and conduct a special class.
Participants were amazed by his vast knowledge of Karate and Martial Arts.
The video below shows you some of the contents we practiced in the 2-hour class.

Apr 21 at Killarney Dojo
Fifteen students of the Blue Belt/stripe class attended tonight's class.
The junior students reviewed all Katas as a belt exam is only a month away.

Mar 9 at Richmond East Dojo
While we run a regular class in downtown on Wednesdays,
senior fighters of VKK train together on the same day at RED.
Sempai Michi, Mark and Pasha went through a round after a round in bag work routines
to push their limits (Kris was absent today due to work).
There are exactly 238 days left until the 10th World Tournament.
Check out video footage of their training at our Facebook page.
Hope it will inspire viewers to train hard.

Feb 9 at Downtown Dojo
There are two Kyokushin banners being displayed during the class at the downtown dojo.
Do you know who prepare for them? Junior students of the children's class hang and take care of them.
They probably don't know what the banner says but will remember the shape of the Kanji
for a long time.
