2007 Summer Camp
August 3-6, Ashton Creek, BC

This year's summer camp was great! There were lots of surprises as well as twists and turns.

We had the usual trainings which were great. We also did water training. That's always fun, as well as sparring in the water.

We learned a lot of neat Bo moves this year too. There were a few surprise trainings as well a a midnight training.

<<Alec (Sempai Alex's sun) trains in Kihon

There was an optional training at 6:00 am but since very little people showed up, we had another training after that at 7:00 am. It was for punishemt. We had to do about 1000 kicks with no stops.

After all the hard work, we got to relax, swim and have a good time.

Then later there was Cardio Kickboxing which was a blast! Lots of sweat! And right after that, it was very nice to have a relaxing session of yoga.

As usual there were black belt fights. And they were very exciting for all to watch. There was this one man, 47 years old, that did 22 fights of varying lengths. Great job! And congratulations to all the fighters out there!

Then the tables were all set for the feast. It was wonderful and delicious. My compliments to the chef(s)!

After that the room was cleared and everyone danced. As usual, it was really great to loosen up and have fun.

Then for the last day we had one more training in which we did a lot of Goshin Jitsu and more kicks. When it ended we parted, awaiting the next time we get to go to camp again.

And I would also like to thank all the Shihans and Senseis, without whom we wouldn't have had this great camp.

Osu!
