Mark is
one of the most senior students in our club. He started Kyokushin
at the Killarney Dojo in 1992 when Sensei Richard Hart was still
teaching the class. His special interest in Asia has flown him to
Japan many times and deepened his understanding of its culture and
way of thinking. Needless to say, the knowledge he earned comes
very handy upon training in the Japanese Budo: Karate. In the
summer 2003, ten years of hard training finally brought him Black
Belt and made him realize how important Karate was to his life.
Although Mark lives a busy life as a computer analyst he trains
and teaches as a main instructor at Killarney on a regular basis. |
