Keegan joined
us in 2003 when he was ten. It didn't take too long for the talented
youth to draw instructors' attention as he possessed both a
natural talent and
and dedicated efforts in training. By the
time he was granted a blue belt stripe, Keegan began participating in a
competition. At Vancouver Cup 2007, Keegan won the Gold Medal of
the open Kata division where several black/brown belts entered.
The victory brought him wide recognition among dojos in the
western Canada region. Today, Keegan helps us teach an adults
class at the Killarney dojo and trains three times a week to
further develop his skills.
